Located just east of Peter Street, 318 Richmond Street West is undoubtedly one of the most important addresses in the history of Toronto’s vibrant after-hours scene.

The front of this t-shirt celebrates the sign that hung above the doors at this address – a defunct printing company that first occupied this space in the 1960s.

Eventually, on August 31, 1991, it became home to Exodus Productions UK, which was Toronto’s first rave organization. Exodus would continue to host parties at 318 until going out with a New Year’s bang on December 31, 1991. In the summer of 1992, Sykosis began throwing regular parties at 318, ushering in Toronto’s OG jungle scene. Then, in 1993, Pleasure Force invaded this space for a legendary weekly Friday event called The Rise.

All three rave logos were meticulously recreated using old flyers and all three companies have given us their full blessing to use them. The address on the back was recreated by a designer who replicated the actual numbers and letters from the front door.

Numerous other warehouse parties, all-ages events, live PAs, and alternative events like Freak Show and booze cans like The Zombie Club, all called 318 home.

So if raving wasn’t your thing, yet you still appreciate 318, you can opt for just the address on the rear.

These tees are unisex, just like the washrooms at 318 – so please refer to our size chart in the gallery above to ensure the perfect fit.

The men’s sizes are true to size, but keep in mind this is a high-quality t-shirt that’s tailored and slightly fitted, like a warm dancefloor embrace from a fellow raver.

So if you prefer a little old-school 1990s bagginess on your torso, select the next size up.

Women can size down for a relaxed, raver fit.

Material, Construction & Care

Celebrate this era in style in a buttery-soft, premium, 4.3 oz, 100% combed ring-spun cotton. Double-needle sleeve and bottom hem. The fabric was laundered pre-construction to minimize shrinkage. We suggest machine washing in cold and hang drying it to avoid any additional shrinkage.

If you’re old enough to remember these rave organizations, it’s also time you booked a colonoscopy. We donate 20% of the profits from this item to Colorectal Cancer Canada in memory of Audra Miller. She was a regular at 318 Richmond in 1991 and ’92 and beloved wife to Ben Ferguson. She passed away in 2021.
